Value study

It was a practice to train my eyes to match colors with the same value. A grey in a certain tone comes in the middle of two different hues as a standard value.

_ The darker one was easier to match.

_ I felt that I was unconsciously drawn to matching the same chroma rather than value. When comparing values of different hues, chroma seemed more obvious to compare. And if the chroma between the chosen colors were too far from each other, they didn’t seem to match each other even if the value of them is the same. This gave me hard time to find the right match.
