Analogous color study

several studies using the online tool “color scheme designer”

Although analogous color scheme is usually aimed to create either warm or cold atmosphere, I attempted to find the scheme that could convey both sides. Personally, combination of a darker primary & adjacent colors with a lighter complementary color seems to work better than the other way, when they are put together without tint or shade. If light colors like yellow is to be primary, I think it is better to use tinted or shaded one. Otherwise it visually “attacks” eyes. (Highly saturated yellow or orange doesn’t seem to give any warm feeling even though they are categorized to be warm colors.)
